Come witness the rare occurrence of snow in Charleston! From Nov. 30 through Dec. 31 "snow" will magically fall on Market Street Circle at select times. Snow will fall each day at 5pm, 6pm, and 7pm, with an additional 4pm snowfall on Saturdays and Sundays. From Dec. 26 to Dec. 31, snow will fall only at 6pm. This experience is complimentary and open to the public, but reservations are required due to capacity. American Express® Card Members and up to three guests can also receive exclusive access to the Let It Snow Flag Pole Terrace Lounge during their reservations.*
Ten minutes before Market Street Circle opens for snowfall, watch as lights along King Street twinkle, signaling the approaching winter wonderland. Guests are invited to enjoy this enchanting moment and then line up on Market Street to enter the event at their designated entrances.
New for 2024, we will offer a snowfall at 4 pm on Saturdays and Sundays.
Please note that on December 26 - December 31st snowfall will happen at 6pm only.
Saturday, November 30th, snow is open to the public and no ticket is required, however, this snow show is first come, first served.
Entry Details:
Hotel overnight guests may enter via the Lobby by showing a room key, no reservation is required.
All other guests must queue on Market Street at the entrance to Market Street Circle and a ticket, email confirmation, or text confirmation must be shown to gain access. Snow queue starts 15 minutes in advance of the snowfall for the 5pm, 6pm, and 7pm experience. Walk-ins are welcome as space allows.
Complimentary. Reservations are encouraged for 2024. Rain or shine event.
Access for Hotel Guests:
Gather and connect with loved ones from the comfort of your guest room or suite. Hotel guests receive access to snowfall, simply by showing their guest room key at the Market Street Circle lobby entrance. To learn more about our Snow suites and book your reservation, click here.
Parking Details:
Parking is limited. Parking is available via the area garages including Majestic Square (behind Target) and Cumberland Street garages. The Charleston Place garage is open for overnight guests of The Charleston Place only.
